Freddie Bain

DJ Freddie Bain

DJ Freddie Bain is one of Chicago’s premier disc jockeys – A 19-year veteran behind the decks, and holds a respected presence in marketing, and in the nightlife event promotion/music journalism field. During his DJ career, he has spun alongside such luminaries as Frankie Knuckles, Maurice Joshua, Derrick Carter, Susan Morabito, Louie Vega, Keoki, Terry Hunter, Mark Grant, and Ralphi Rosario.

A true pioneer in his own right, he was the very first DJ hired to play and hold a 9-year residency at Red Dog’s Boom Boom Room, a Monday night institution in Chicago. Freddie’s inimitable style helped define what is now known worldwide as the “Boom Boom Room Sound”.

His past club residencies include: Shelter, Neo, Foxy’s, Spy Bar, Spin, Kaboom, and Crobar’s “Glee Club” Sunday night, arguably one of the most successful dance clubs in Chicago’s colorful history. Freddie currently holds his Friday night club/lounge residency at Cocktail.
Without question, whether he’s working his magic on the tables or working his voodoo behind the scenes, Freddie is up to something and it’s good. All good!

DJ Teri Bristol

Her reputation is one known around the world as one of the hottest female DJ's in the business. It’s her unique sound and personality that brings life to every track she plays, making Teri Bristol by far the perfect icon to true artistry. Her dedication and hard work is evident in everything she touches. With a subtle demeanor, she transforms an audience into a true fan of this genre making it look almost too easy.

For over 25 years, she has toured the world bringing with her an amazing energy which has captivated thousands of people in countries worldwide, such as Switzerland, Mexico, Poland, Guatemala City and right here at home in America including Puerto Rico. A career second only to her ambition, this diva of music has dominated the club scene and radio. She has had radio shows on WKQX Q-101radio show, “Sonic Boom”, and as a resident on XMSR, the first satellite radio station, for many years. 

Teri has pioneered two of the most world renowned parties at Chicago’s “Crobar The Nightclub”, Saturday night’s “Interactive Dance Party” which hosted 2,000 people a week and Sunday night’s “Glee Club”, which was the longest running and most successful gay night in the America.  Teri’s hard work in building the Crobar brand enabled the club to launch various locations around the world.

Teri Bristol has paved a road of countless successes in her field and her creativity expands to what one might expect by her work ethics. Remixing artist such as Madonna, Pet Shop Boys, KD Lang, Prodigy, Gloria Estefan, Georgie Porgie and many others, this rising star's momentum has not fallen short of what true legends are made of.  Always new and on the cutting edge Teri Bristol is always creating.

Her last releases on the Music Plant’s label, “Teenage Waste Land”, “Hooked on a Bass Line”, and “Dirty and Sweet” are just a taste of the talent behind the sound.  “Teenage Waste Land” was an anthem in Chicago and across the country. It went #1 on Energy radio. Her last single “Dirty and Sweet” peaked at #15 on the Billboard Dance Chart!

Upon meeting her, Teri's humble character is just another example of her focus and dedication, but above all, her love for music is superior. She manages to unite people from all over the globe leaving her signature in every city, country and in every one she meets. From LA to New York, she has hit every coast, showing an amazing sense of diversity and ability, knowing just what her audience wants. It's this ability to please that makes Teri Bristol what she is today; an original. There is no doubt that wherever Teri goes the multitudes will follow, and on the first beat of the track they know exactly what to expect from her; an incredible time! Carla Starla

DJ Carla Starla

If you ask Carla how long she's been singing she'll tell you she was born singing instead of crying. She will say it's a gift from a higher power and that her job is to share that gift with the world. In 1988 she started her music career in Omaha Nebraska, singing and playing bass in a Ska Punk Band called The Conspiracy. In 1993 Carla found herself in Chicago singing background for the infamous Blue Meanies. Finding her way along and more into the spotlight where she belonged. A co creation group called Stereotypes was formed with Damon Keller in 1994.

Finding power in creating original music and songwriting, Carla played an integral role in booking Stereotypes many shows and raves around the Midwest in the early nineties working with groups like VBNTS Chicago and Eclectic Grooves. Stereotypes was ahead of their time. With a hip hop intelligent jungle fusion. Carla produced, sang, played violin, bass and samples. Stereotypes played with the greats like. Del The Funky Homosapien, Maseo of De La Sol and opened for Ms. Lady Kier of Delight at the Metro. Carla will tell you that will always be her favorite show to date.

In 1998 a decision to DJ came from her passionate love for House music. Finding a niche in singing and DJing, DJ Carla Starla was born. For the past thirteen years she has been doing just that. Playing at the world famous Burningman Festival, Rocking Smart Bar Chicago with the likes of Paul Johnson, Kaskade and DJ Heather. She has been a guest DJ at a many Freakeasy, Psymbolic and Brilliantlymad events.

With her passion to stay busy she is currently holding down monthly residencies at Cocktail Lounge in Boys Town Chicago, Flight 112 Wine Bar in Elmhurst IL., Underground Wonder Bar and Highball Lounge in Gold Coast Chicago. For the past two years she has been the resident DJ at Chi Ka Go events which fuse dance, music, art, and poetry.

Carla has also been one of the staple DJs collaborating in the Chicago Resonate events for the past 5 years. Her goal is to travel the world, sharing her talents with as many countries and cultures as she can




Heather Doble


REDUX is a troublesome duo comprised of DJ CT of U R WE Productions and WYSER of Custom Vibes Chicago. Together they have forged and produced a mean sound; staying true to their roots and reviving a pleasure filled aesthetic like none other. With diverse musical backgrounds including punk, indie, house and so on these crazy kids pack a mean punch that is sure to be a knock out hit every time! Created in early 2010 the duo have blazed through Chicago’s underground scene as well as some of the hottest clubs in the city alongside such fresh talent as SoSoDisco, White Label, Midnight Conspiracy, Dark Wave Disco, Chances Dances and also alongside internationally known artists such as Lady Starlight, Steven Hawley of Codebreaker, Fischerspooner, Peaches and many more. 

With their newest installation of their series of mixes called "The Flight Sessions" they establish themselves as a hot tag team duo with any genre. You can catch them in their monthly residency @ Cocktail in the heart of Boystown as well as frequent guest DJs @ Berlin’s wildly successful weekly party Stardust

These DJs stay true to their hometown style while infusing culture and fashion to the DJ and electronic scene by collaborating with some of the hottest promoters and talent around. Keep an eye open, they’ll be at a party near you!

With a background in visual and performance arts, Sadie has freelanced and worked as curator, event planner, instructor and musician with independent businesses and institutions, including Around the Coyote, Fluxcore, Fusion Dance, Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance, Marwen, Rock for Kids,, The Silver Room and Translucent Chocolates. She completed the International Curatorial Training Program at Ecole Du Magasin (FR) and continues to freelance as a curator and DJ as half of DJ/Production duo White Label with partner Madrid, who toured as Oprah Winfrey's DJs for the Trip of a Lifetime Mediterranean cruise

Sadie has performed in Dominican Republic, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Spain, Turkey and throughout the states at venues, such as The Anthenaeum Theater, Armani Exchange, Around the Coyote, Auditorium Theater, Beauty Bar, Centro Abreu (DR), Chicago Theater, Columbia College, Debonair Social Club, DePaul University, The Empty Bottle, The Field Museum, Island Recorders, Juicy Wine Co, Magasin-Centre National d'Art Contemporain (FR), Mark XIII (FR), The Museum of Contemporary Art, Nacional 27, National Museum of Mexican Art, The Palmer House, Sotheby's Auction House, Sonotheque, Sound Bar, Spanish Villa (ES), University of Illinois at Chicago, Victor Hotel, The Virgin Megastore and VerveLife. Sadie has created and implemented curatorial projects and happenings throughout Chicago at venues including AMC River East 21, Around The Coyote Gallery, Galleria Marchetti, Lumen, OhNo!Doom and more. Current DJ residencies include the River East Art Center, restaurant lounge Rodan, Space Academy (KR), SUSHISAMBA Rio supper club, Vertigo Sky Lounge at Dana Hotel and Spa and the Whiskey Sky Lounge at the W Hotel Lakeshore.
